Heritage Day 2005
HISTORY! MUSIC! FOOD! FUN!
An exciting tradition is being continued again this year in our town, Heritage Day. Mark your calendars for Saturday, October 1st for another day filled with historical presentations, events, and food. The Bolton Women's Club will again be
supporting this event in conjunction with the Historical Society to provide a "colonial
breakfast". Our location for the breakfast will be an exciting change. We will be located at historic house on the corner of Brandy Street and Bolton Center Road. Meet some
Revolutionary War Dragoons, and hear Town Historian Hans DePold talk about Rochambeau's connection with the house, and about Captain Joel White, one of its most
important residents. The tentative agenda for the day will include:

• revolutionary war cavalry program and campsite
• congregational church lunch and lecture
• Susan Bosworth reception and exhibit opening
• civil war lecture and demonstration
• Jonathan Edwards heritage hike at the Rose Farm
• Italian night in Bolton

Any club member interested in volunteering to facilitate the breakfast or interested in providing baked goods, please contact Chris O'Brien or Carol Walker. Recipe
