Auction - The auction is our biggest fund raiser. The auction is a night you don't want to miss. This years auction will be December 1st at Georginas. It is a great date night with your other half where you can get a little shopping done. Try your luck at our raffle table, have fun bidding on our Silent Auction items and enjoy the antics of our auctioneer as you bid on live auction items.  There are hundreds of items, it's a fun night and it's all for a good cause.

Senior Luncheon - March 22nd.  Bolton Senior Center
The Senior Luncheon is a great event.  Close to 100 seniors in town come to the Senior Center to enjoy the afternoon.  Bolton Women's Club members prepare a fabulous meal with everything from main dishes to homemade pies.  Bolton Center School students offer their assistance as waiters/waitresses for the event.

Wadsworth Atheneum Flower Festival
Fine Arts and Flowers: 2005 was the first year the Bolton Women's Club participated in this unique four day show of art interpretation through blossoms and greenery. The club receives a photograph of a painting or sculpture in the museum that we must interpret through a floral arrangement. We brainstorm ideas, select flora and make a test arrangement before finalizing our masterpiece. A Saturday morning “field trip” to the show lets us view the artwork other entrants were assigned and critique their interpretation. No experience is necessary to join this fun committee, just a willingness to explore your creative side.

End of Year Party
What a great way to end the year.  Bring your spouse/significant other and enjoy the warm hospitality of Donna & Doug.  There's great food, conversation, and weather permitting a nice bon fire out back.

Bolton Family Fun Day
This is a fun event for the whole family.  After the town parade, head over to Bolton Center School for food, games and fun.  The BWC makes cotton candy each year, which is always a hit with the kids and adults too!

Tag Sale
A space at the Federated Church of Willington’s 44th Annual Willington Flea Market has been donated to the club. This flea market which is held on the three acre Willington town green on Route 74 has a great mix of collectibles, crafts, food items, jewelry, and tag saletype items with nearly half of the forty-eight spaces offering antiques. The flea market draws a substantial number of people because it is held the same day as the Brimfield Antique Show, which is not far fromWillington, so many show-goers stop at the Willington Flea Market on their way to or from Brimfield. The date is Saturday, September 9th from 9-3pm. We will be selling items donated by members and friends with all proceeds going to the club

Bolton Heritage Day
This is a new town event sponsored by The Bolton Historical Society.  This year, Bolton Women's Club members volunteered to provide a tea at the event.

Halloween Party - The Halloween Party is a community wide costume party.  Bolton Women's Club provides lots of games, prizes, and activities geared toward kids pre-school through elementary school.  The party draws roughly 350 kids each year.  The Lion's Club provides a hay ride and Bolton Center School students help run the games. Wadsworth Atheneum Festival of Trees December
The BWC creates a tree, sleigh or other holiday decoration and donates it to the Wadsworth.  They auction off the creations.  BWC members have lots of fun getting together and being creative.

Time Out Socials
Throughout the year, members get together for fun activities from painting and pottery classes to movies, corn mazes and shows.  Check our on going events to the right on this page to see what's happening next.

Greeting Cards for Charity
This is a new endeavor by our members, inspired by a hand stamping demonstration at one of our meetings.  BWC members created a set of cards to benefit a specific charity.  Our Spring Collection proceeds went to the Tsunami victims.
