Wreath Fundraiser
This year's theme: Backyard Wonders
The wreath fundraiser is moving along nicely. I have received the wreaths that will be used and have prepared the registration forms. Registration is $5. each and includes an unadorned wreath. Registration dates are February 22 thru March 12. I will bring registration forms and wreaths with me to the March 3rd meeting or you can e-mail me at jickndan@att.net and we can arrange a time to meet.
All decorated wreaths must be submitted by March 19th. Judging, silent auction and bake sale are on March 27th at Country Carpenters Early New England Homes, 26 West Street (Route 85). From 12 - 2:30 pm.
This fundraiser is open to all. We have set up three categories that will be judged separately and ribbons for first, second, and third place will be awarded. The categories are Youth (up to age 12); Teen (ages 13 – 17) and Adult (18 and older). All wreaths will then be sold by silent auction. I have a photographer friend who will be there to document the event and take pictures of the winning entrants with their creations.
Please plan on decorating a wreath (or two) and help make this event a success. Remember to invite your family and friends to the silent auction and bake sale so they can pick out the perfect spring wreath for their home and take home some baked goods too!!!
